However, I do not agree with your conclusion:

"In the next stage, known as the Semantic Web, the machine will link data directly to other data, wherever it may be. We will link from one idea (or word) on a page to another idea or word, rather than just link from one page to another. This restructuring of the Web will lead to every noun having a representation and being supported by the entire web."

Kelly talks about the Web of Things, that is, the embodiment of the current Web into all types of devices.

Personally, I don't think the Semantic Web will ever exist as a distinguished form or version of the current Web. There is semantic technology that can be applied to many important web services at different stages of the Web's evolution (1.0, 2.0, 3.0.). I would argue then that, while the use of semantic technology in web 1.0 sites is unusual and is increasing in web 2.0 sites, it will become essential in web 3.0 services (enabling ubiquitous devices communicate with each other), but it will surely be combined with other technologies, perhaps even more relevant: HMM, n-grams, Bayesian networks, etc.

I think the post is perfect as it is. Short posts are much more effective than longer ones. Your summary of Kelly's talk is excellent. Congratulations!
